The Comparative of Tourism Logistics between Bangkok Thailand and Sydney Australia

Abstract
Sydney, Australia and Bangkok, Thailand are similar in term of being a tourist hub, economic center, and even the most populated city of the country; regarding its previous feature, it attracts tourists and people to visit. This study is about tourism logistics in these cities in the aspects of vehicles, information technology utilization and the payment system. The findings revealed that Bangkok still has the security problems, the inability to accommodate all passenger, and the limitation of accessibility to handicapped or wheelchair user. On the contrary, Sydney is superior in all aspects; for example, there is an application to provide the travel information, not only the schedule of service but also the tracking system which helps saving time for the users when waiting while in Bangkok only the frequency of the transport service is provided. Opal, the payment system the smartcard ticketing system is used to pay for travel on all public transport in Sydney but in Bangkok the travelers still use cash to purchase the ticket. Also, there are many of options to top up the smart card in the ticketing system of Sydney and it is more user friendly than Bangkok. Sydney can give a lesson to Thailand as the logistic tourism development model such as safety, information and payment system will increase and attractive to tourism
