Guidelines for Tourism Development in Tham Le Khao Kob at Huaiyot District, Trang Province

Abstract

        The purposes of this research were 1) to study the demands of tourists in Tham Le Khao Kop, Huay Yot district, Trang province 2) to evaluate the potentials of tourism management in Tham Le Khao Kop, Huay Yot district, Trang province and 3) to propose a development guidelines for the tourism of Tham Le Khao Kop, Huay Yot district, Trang province. This study is quantitative research, collecting data from 400Thai tourists who visited Tham Le Khao Kop, Huay Yot district, Trang province with a convenience sampling method. The research tool was a questionnaire. Statistics used to analyze the data were 1) Frequency 2) Mean 3) Standard Deviation 4) Statistic t-test 5) Statistic F-test (One-Way ANOVA)


        The results found that tourists had the most demand of Activities at the mean of 4.33. Additionally, the tourists had the most potential of Access at the mean of 2.97 or the potential was in moderate level. The results of the hypothesis test showed that personal factors consisted of age, habitation and monthly income of tourists affecting to the tourism demand of Tham Le Khao Kop, Huay Yot district, Trang province differently. Furthermore, the personal factors concluded as follows monthly income, education and occupation of tourists affecting to the opinions on tourism potential of Tham Le Khao Kop, Huay Yot district, Trang province differently. Based on the synthesis of the results of the study, objectives 1 and 2 were developed as a guideline. The tourism activities. Take care of boating activities to ensure safety for life and property.
