A State without National Religion

Abstract
Constitution of the United States prohibits the establishment of religion or the privilege status to any religion. The establishment and existence of all kind of cults must depend on own resources. This leads to the “religious pluralism” which no religion is superior to the others. Religious organization must compete to gain the social support themselves.
The provision of religious pluralism in the US Constitution effects significantly to religious activities. Support and participation from followers are essential to their existence. Meanwhile, religious participation becomes the social capital which is useful to democratic system as well as learning space for people.
