Abstract

The FIFA Clearing House (FCH) Regulations brings together the new clubs that allow players' registration for club competitions and the previous clubs that trained the player to process fair training rewards for an international football transfer in the global football industry. This means that these parties will meet to compulsorily agree on a set of transfer agreement terms for the automatic calculation and training rewards under the FCH Regulations. The objective of the FCH Regulations from 2022 was to promote financial transparency and avoid unfair business practice in the transfer system, especially promotion of sufficient or fair rewards for training clubs, to make it more systematic for all parties. A perspective on fair business practice in the football industry are examined in this article. Fair-dealing businesses under the FCH Regulations are also examined.
