About the Journal

General Policies and Scope

     The Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences has been published since the 2014 budgetary year (Year 1, Vol. 1 covered the period September 2013 – August 2014). The journal is published annually and is available via print (ISSN 2392-5698) and, since its 6th volume, as an e-Journal online (ISSN 2673-0022). Currently, the journal is classified as a Tier 2 journal (Group 2: Humanities and the Social Sciences) under the Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI).

Aims

  1. To disseminate academic knowledge in the fields of humanities and social sciences to scholars, researchers, students, and interested members of the public.
  2. To promote and develop research capabilities in the humanities and sciences, with an emphasis on education, development, military affairs, and security.

Scope

  1. The journal publishes articles in the fields of education, development, military affairs, security, political sciences, languages, history, and social sciences.
  2. The journal publishes research and academic articles.
  3. The journal publishes articles in both Thai and English.

Peer Review Process

  1. The editorial board will examine whether submissions fall under the scope of the journal. All submissions must conform to the journal’s standards and document template.
  2. Once the editorial board has accepted the submission, the draft article will be sent for review. All submissions must undergo a double-blind peer review process, involving at least 3 experts in the relevant field. Both the author of the submission and the reviewer are anonymized.
  3. Articles that are submitted for publication must not have been published nor under consideration for publication elsewhere. The author must also undertake not to plagiarize the work of others and if plagiarism is discovered, the author must take responsibility for it.
  4. Authors is solely responsible for the article, its contents, data tables, and illustrations. If readers suspect plagiarism, please inform the editorial board.
  5. The editorial board reserves the right to consider and decide on the publication of articles.

     Once per annum (in August, covering the period January - December)
