The Development of activities to Reinforce Life–Skills and Prevent Issues Related to Sexual Behavior for Lower Secondary School Students of the School under the Office of Basic Education Commission

This was a research and development research. The purposes of this research were 1) to study the state of life skill development in order to prevent sexual behavior problems among lower secondary school students for educational opportunity expansion of schools, 2) to create and develop activities to enhance life skills to prevent sexual behavior problems of lower secondary school students for educational opportunity expansion of schools, 3) to experiment activities to enhance life skills to prevent sexual behavior problems of lower secondary school students for educational opportunity expansion of schools, and 4) to evaluate activities approach to enhance life skills to prevent sexual behavior problems of lower secondary school students for educational opportunity expansion of schools. The samples are 5 schools of Educational opportunity Expansion under the Office of the basic educational commission, lower Northern provinces. The informants were 46 teachers and 506 students. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used in the research were mean ( ) and standard deviation (S.D.)
The results of research synthesis were as follows:
- The development of life skills to prevent sexual behavior problems of lower secondary school students for educational opportunity expansion of schools and the total perception skills was at the moderate level. The value-added skills of the students were at a high level. The total practical skills were at a moderate level.
- Activities to reinforce life–skills and prevent issues was the appropriateness of the orientation of life skill enhancement activities to prevent problems of sexual behavior in school age of the experts overall was at a high level. Accuracy of life skill project to prevent sexual behavior problems in school age was at the high level.
- The experiments on an activity approach to reinforce life skill and prevent sexual behavior in school students after the experiment were significantly higher than before the experiment with statistically significant at .01
- The level of accuracy, usefulness and satisfaction to organize life skill enhancement activities to prevent sexual behavior problems in school age based and satisfaction were at a high level.
