Innovative manual for organizing experiences based on whole language, brain skills, EF, early childhood under the local administrative organization, Kamphaeng Phet Province

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to study the explicit knowledge, the problems and the needs of early childhood teacher, the coaching for the development of the innovative manual for organizing experience based on whole language brain skill executive function (EF), and try out the manual and evaluate participant’s satisfactions toward on the manual implementation.The Samples consisted of 37 early childhood teachers under the local administrative organization Kamphaeng Phet Province.The research instruments were 1) structured open-ended questionnaire 2) Access from for the appropriateness and the possibility of the manual. 3) Access from for participant’s satisfaction towards on the manual implementation. The data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation and content analysis.
The results revealed that the early childhood teachers understand the instructional activities by whole language approach although the have never known or been trainned for whole language approach. Early childhood teachers knew the process of forebrain and executive function (EF). Majority of early childhood teachers had a training of executive function (EF). The early childhood development problem was found that early childhood children got developmental delay in children. The problem of concentration whole listening. Teachers wanted to learn for whole language approach for supporting executive function (EF) of children.
The coaching of whole language were as follows : early childhood teachers had various ways including of consolation practical training worksheets homework, presentations and reflective feedback. It showed that teachers knew how to manage whole language, brain skills and EF which could be improved teachers professional. Teachers exchanged their experiences with other childcare centers.
The evaluation of the manual was found that the appropriateness and the possibility were at the average of 4.66. The mean of 4.66. The appropriateness and the possibility of early childhood teachers before using the manual was at the highest level ( = 4.54). Teachers’ satisfaction after being used the manual was at the highest level ( = 4.76)
