The Municipality School Administrative Strategies for Social Responsibility

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) study the elements of social responsibility of the schools under the municipality; 2) study the current and desirable conditions of administration for social responsibility of the schools under the municipality; 3) develop the municipality school administrative strategies for social responsibility; 4) examine the drafted the municipality school administrative strategies for social responsibility. The research methodology comprised 4 phases: Phase 1 was conducted by document analysis and factor analysis.  Phase 2 was conducted by study of the current and desirable states. Phase 3 was conducted by developing administrative strategies. Phase 4 was conducted by examining administrative strategies. The sample group consisted of 340 and 289 schools administrators in the amount of            as well as 15 specialists. The research instruments were questionnaires and
in-depth interviews. The  data were analyzed using content analysis, Chi-square, Df,
P-value, GFI, AGFI, RMSEA, PNImodified, frequency, percentage,  and SD.

          The results of this research were as follows. 1) The elements of social responsibility of the schools under the municipality included 5 major elements and 12 minor elements. And the result of modelling confirmatory was agreeable with the empirical data with the statistical significance of 0.01. 2) The study of the current conditions showed that the overall was high in every aspect, desirable conditions of administrative showed that the overall was highest in every aspect while the needs of administrative strategies for social responsibility contained the index value of needs arranged from the highest to the lowest as humanity, environment, economy, good governance, and law. 3) The development of administrative strategies for social responsibility contained 5 major strategies to develop educational resource management to be effective, a strategy to maintain the rule of law and norm, strategy to establish volunteers and public services, a strategy to establish good subconscious to natural resource and environment, and a strategy to establish transparency, justice, and participation. 4) The examination of the municipality school administrative strategies for social responsibility presented that qualitative results of administration strategies for social responsibility were accurate, appropriate, possible, and beneficial with every aspect at the highest level. Moreover, the quantitative examination found that administrative strategies for social responsibility were accurate, and possible at the highest level as well as appropriate and beneficial at the high level.
