Approaches for Developing Management towards Excellence of Academic Educational Khanom School Network in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province Based on the Concept of Student Entrepreneurship

This research aimed to: 1) study the needs of the administration towards school excellence; 2) propose guidelines for developing administration for excellence of schools under academic educational Khanom school network, Nakhon Si Thammarat province, according to the concept of entrepreneurship of students using descriptive research methods. The population consisted of 6 schools in the academic educational Khanom school network. The informants consisted of 6 school directors, 32 heads of subjects and 34 teachers. The research instruments were a questionnaire and a feasibility assessment form. Data were collected and analyzed using distribution, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, PNImodified, mode and content analysis.
The results of the research revealed that 1) the essential needs of the administration towards excellence of schools in academic educational Khanom school network, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, according to the concept of entrepreneurship of students revealed that the outcome of the innovative of entrepreneurship, had the highest need (PNImodified = 0.306 and PNImodified = 0.264); 2) to develop management towards the excellence it required 7 main guidelines and 29 sub-guidelines. The necessity index was arranged in order as follows: (1) student outcomes improvement, (2) organizational practice improvement, (3) student and stakeholder improvement, (4) personnel improvement, (5) measuring, analysis and knowledge management improvement, (6) strategy improvement, and (7) organization improvement.
