Abstract

This article aims to present the Dhamma principle of the subject on pleasing people for being applied to the school administrators using empirical case studies to present solutions to prevent problems that arise. The inspiration came from hearing the talk of Phra Dech Phra Khun Luang Pho Sanong Katapunyo, the former abbot of Wat Sangkhathan, Nonthaburi Province. Issues gained from listening to Dhamma are the subject on pleasing people. The principles include knowing his heart, knowing our heart, and not forgeting our breath. The results of the synthesis can be summarized as follows. 1) Presenting the Dhamma principles of the subject on pleasing people. 1.1) Lack of  the subject on pleasing people may get a job done but not the heart, lack of encouragement affecting ineffectiveness and inefficiency in response to any commands. 1.2) Management lacking the subject on pleasing people with disrespectful words would hurt the hearts of subordinates, which may be later corrected by understanding the reasons for acceptance, it was solved by using the subject people and appraisal to make the job successful as intended. 1.3) Taking the subject on pleasing too many people without being conscious, may cause corruption and misconduct, affecting the school administrators to be expelled from the government without any pension. 2) Presenting solutions to prevent upcoming problems for the subject on overly pleasing people. The important suggestion agreeing to take the subject on pleasing people should be applied to the school administrators by following the middle path in the theory and mindfulness practice, can always be remembered by thinking about the breath to make mindfulness. To reduce greed, it is necessary to practice sacrificing and sharing to be treated as practical part. Both in theory and practice, it should be included in a training course to prepare administrators prior to becoming the real school administrators in the future.
