Reflection Lessons for Creating Organizational Core Value in Educational-Sandbox-Pilot Schools: Multiple-Cases of Selective Private Companies

Abstract

To be successful in a disruptive society, school must provide education in accordance with the contexts and needs of community, while also developing innovative methods to enhance quality of instruction. This article aimed to present a reflection on corporate core values of selected private companies in order to find out how to create the core value for Education-Sandbox-pilot schools. Thailand currently had 413 pilot schools that were using the initiative policy. There private companies were selected whose innovative management and core value demonstrate their excellence. Among the private companies selected were PTG Energy Public Company Limited or PTG, True Corporation Public Company Limited, and UBIS (Asia) Public Company Limited or UBIS. The findings indicated that core values of the organizations can be used to identify Education Sandbox pilot schools’ organizational value including 1) Visionary Leadership 2) Customer – focused Excellence 3) Valuing People 4) Organizational Learning and Agility 5) Managing for Innovation 6) Societal Contributions.
