Abstract

This article aims to study the policy implementation process of STEM Education and problems in the policy implementation process of STEM Education in the school under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). The study used the qualitative research methodology. Data were collected by using a semi- structure interview with key informants that related to the policy implementation process and analyzed related documents and observation with participation in the project studied then analyzes the content to find the consistency of various data between the personal level and the study area and checked the studied results with a triangular method. According to studies, found that the government attempted to reform the educational structure through the process of STEM Education that in order to adopt and adapt in the school under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA). The results are the impact to the actors especially the teachers of Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, nothing to change about the achievement of the learners or learning methodology. The factors of problems are 1) the limited of teachers seminars 2) the length of teachers seminar is too short. 3) the enhance STEM Education hard to reach. 4) the budgets are not enough 5) the process of STEM Education implementation is not continues and unobvious.
