Indicator Development of Phu-Tai Cultural Community Based Tourism Network Governance in Northeastern, Thailand

Abstract

This article aims to develop indicators of Phu-tai cultural community-based tourism network governance in northeastern, Thailand. The del-phi research method was conducted data collection by using questionnaires with 18 experts in 3 rounds. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, and Kendall ‘s coefficient of concordance for finding consistency between opinions of each expert. The result found that the developed indicators and factors of Phu-tai cultural community-based tourism network governance in the northeastern consist of 4 dimensions as follows: 1) Network arrangement collaborates within the community-based tourism governance, consisting of  10 factors and 37 indicators; 2) Network arrangement combine with the private sector, civil society, and other community organs, consisting of 3 factors and 10 indicators; 3) Network arrangement combine with governmental sector and state-owned enterprises in the national and regional levels, consisting of 2 factors and 10 indicators; and 4) Network arrangement collaborates with local administrative organization, consisting of 5 factors and 20 indicators.
