The Development of Packaging and Branding Design for Khit Dinosaur Fabric Product, Ban sing Sa-At, Sahatsakhan Sub – District Sahatsakhan District, Kalasin Province.

Abstract

This research is the development of packages and brand mark for Khit Dinosaur fabric of Baan Sing sa-at weaving group, Sahatsakhan, Kalasin. The aim is develop packages and brand mark for Khit Dinosaur of Baan Sing sa-at weaving group, Sahatsakhan, Kalasin. The researcher studied the history of Baan Sing sa-at weaving group, found that a group is Phu Thai. They have unique culture, living, habitat, dress, and tradition. All the culture is suitable for use about the concept design of packages and brand mark for product.

 From the concept is consistent with the culture to development of packages and brand mark, that is suitable for the product. The researcher has taken the new packages and brand mark through the assessing process by 3 design experts and choose the best of design. Then development packages and brand mark until complete. Including Individual Package, product set package and festival gift set packages. The study in sample group’s opinion, 150 samples, accidental sample in the product distribution place, the studied appears that the sample group was satisfied with the new packages, structure and graphic. The new packages are strong, beautiful and very suitable for the product. The average satisfaction score was very satisfactory. Also, the packages can be production in industrial process and easy to use, This research resulted in Baan Sing sa-at weaving group have new packages that can offer the Phu Thai’s culture and the discovery of dinosaurs in the area as well, the packages. The packaging creates a memorable impression for the buyer and make community products widely known.
