บทคัดย่อ
วิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมเปรียบเสมือนฟันเฟืองที่ช่วยขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจของประเทศได้เป็นอย่างมาก อย่างไรก็ตามกลุ่มธุรกิจดังกล่าวมักประสบปัญหาและอุปสรรคในเรื่องของความสามารถในการเข้าถึงแหล่งเงินทุนอันส่งผลต่อความสามารถในการอยู่รอดและเติบโตของธุรกิจ การระดมทุนสาธารณะ (Crowdfunding) เป็นอีกหนึ่งทางเลือกของวิสาหกิจขนาดกลาง และขนาดย่อมในประเทศไทยที่กำลังได้รับความนิยมโดยเป็นแหล่งเงินทุนที่อาศัยการระดมทุนจากประชาชนทั่วไปที่มีความเห็นชอบในความคิดการทำธุรกิจของผู้ริเริ่มธุรกิจใหม่ ๆ อย่างสร้างสรรค์ซึ่งสามารถเข้าถึงได้ทุกคนทั่วโลกอย่างเท่าเทียมกัน แต่สิ่งที่ผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อมต้องพิจารณาจากการใช้แหล่งเงินทุนจากการระดมทุนสาธารณะ คือ ต้นทุนในการจัดหาแหล่งเงินทุนที่ค่อนข้างสูงกว่าแหล่งเงินทุนทางเลือกอื่น ๆ ดังนั้น บทความนี้จึงนำเสนอถึงความท้าทายใหม่ที่เกิดขึ้นไม่ใช่แค่เพียงในส่วนของผู้ประกอบการ แต่เป็นส่วนของแนวคิดการระดมทุนแบบการระดมทุนสาธารณะด้วยเช่นกัน
