บทคัดย่อ

ปริญญาดุษฎีบัณฑิต เป็นระดับปริญญาสูงสุดซึ่งวิทยาลัย หรือมหาวิทยาลัยได้มอบให้ผู้ผ่านหลักสูตรตามที่กำหนด แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ประเภท คือ 1) ปริญญาทางด้านวิชาชีพ เป็นปริญญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตที่ผู้ได้รับต้องผ่านหลักสูตร การศึกษาที่มุ่งเน้นการฝึกฝนประสบการณ์ทางวิชาชีพชั้นสูง ในสาขาวิชาของตน โดยการนำผลวิจัยหรือความรู้ ต่าง ๆ ในสาขาวิชาที่เกี่ยวข้องไปประยุกต์ใช้ในวิชาชีพ ผู้ได้รับปริญญาเหล่านี้ไม่จำเป็นต้องผ่านการศึกษาระดับ ปริญญาตรี หรือปริญญาโทมาก่อนก็ได้ 2) ปริญญาทางด้านการวิจัย เป็นปริญญาดุษฎีบัณฑิตที่ผู้ได้รับต้องรอบรู้ ในสาขาวิชาของตน ตลอดจนรู้เชี่ยวชาญในการวิจัยเพื่อสร้างองค์ความรู้ในสาขาวิชาที่ตนเองศึกษา หลักสูตร การศึกษามุ่งเน้นการวิจัยเพื่อค้นคว้าหาความรู้ องค์ความรู้ต่าง ๆ เหล่านี้จะเป็นฐานสำคัญสำหรับผู้ประกอบวิชาชีพ หรือผู้ที่ได้รับปริญญาทางด้านวิชาชีพที่จะนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ การศึกษาในระดับนี้ต้องการบุคคลผู้ผ่านการศึกษา ระดับปริญญาตรี หรือระดับปริญญาโท กล่าวโดยสรุปคือ ผู้สำเร็จปริญญาทางด้านการวิจัย มีหน้าที่ค้นคว้าหา ความรู้ เพื่อที่ผู้สำเร็จปริญญาทางด้านวิชาชีพจะได้นำความรู้นั้นไปใช้ประโยชน์ต่อสังคมและอาชีพของตนPathway of Sages...Doctor of Philosophy

Doctor of Philology is the highest academic degree educational institutions, from colleges to universities, award to those who fulfill the program requirements. Basically, the degree is divided into two categories. The first category is called a professional degree, the doctorate degree which the holders must pass the requirements aiming at advanced professional training in their own discipline. The holders are supposed to apply their research findings and expand the body of knowledge in the fields. In addition, this kind of degree holders are not required the full completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or a Master’s Degree. On the other hand, the second category is referred to a research degree, a doctorate degree in which the holders must be knowledgeable and have the expertise in doing research for the purpose of generating new knowledge of the investigated area. This program highlights research completion for the acquisition of new knowledge which is fundamental for professionals or the degree holders for further application. Having obtained both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s degree is necessary. In short, the academic degree holders seek for new knowledge to benefit the community and their own professions.
