Strategic Management Guidelines of School, Pathumwan District Bangkok for Support Management era 4.0

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study the need for strategic management of the private school administrators in Pathumwan District, Bangkok, to support the educational management era 4.0 2) to propose a guideline for strategic management of the administrators of private schools in Pathumwan District, Bangkok to support education management in the 4.0 era. This research uses a mixed method. In a quantitative analysis of 289 people, namely administrators and teachers in all teaching groups in a private school in Pathumwan District, Bangkok, Data collects by questionnaires. And analyze the data by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the need index. For the qualitative research, interview the experts on the strategic management guidelines of the school administrators, amount eight persons, specifically selected, and data analysis by content analysis.

The research results are as follows: 1) current conditions and needs of the strategic management of school administrators. In all aspects, the current condition is at a low level, and the demand is at a high level. When considering the need index, I found it that the need is the order of the strategy evaluation and control, the strategic planning and the strategic management, and 2) guidelines for strategic management development of school administrators. In each area, some proposals should be developed in order as follows: assessment should develop tools for measuring the implementation of plans/activities/
projects continuously to get the right tools and standards and publicize the report of the operation following the action plan to the public since there should be notify to receive follow-up, summarize the evaluation results, analyze, improve to achieve benefits for the school.
