The development of an Instruction Model on Information literacy Skill for Undergraduate Student at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University

In this paper, we described the development of an Instruction Model on Information literacy skill for undergraduate student at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University The purposes of this research were 1) to study the states and needs in the instructional guidelines to enhance students’ Information literacy skill for undergraduate student at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University. The samples were 130 undergraduate students and 3 experts. The research instruments consisted of: 1) the instructional such as instructional plan, information literacy skill test and the project evaluation form 2) a model evaluation form.
The findings revealed as follows; 1) the states and problems in the instructional guidelines to enhance students’ information literacy skill for undergraduate student at Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University were found 5 topics namely, instructional management, instruction materials, instruction resources, student’s information literacy skill and evaluation. 2) The components of instructional model consisted of 6 components as followed; teacher, students, learning activities, learning resources, learning management and evaluation. The process of instructional model consisted of 5 steps as followed; presenting topics or problems, dividing students into the group that their interest topic, brainstorming and group working, presenting their project and discussion and evaluation. 3) The experts rated the instructional model probability at the highest level.
