Human Security of the Elderly citizens in Khon Kaen Province

The objective of this research was to study the stability of elderly citizens who use the services at the Bureau of Social Development and Human Security, based in Khon Kaen. This is quantitative research with the information being collected using a sample of 200 people who used the services of the center for disabled people at the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security and at Srinakarind Hospital, Khon Kaen University. The qualitative data was executed by interviewing 7 sample subjects. The analytical statistics cover frequency, percentage, and mean. The result of the survey indicated that the stability of the elderly citizens using the services of the center and Srinakarind Hospital, Khon Kaen University is, overall, high. However, when considering other aspects, the lowest means concern social and cultural studies, work and income, social support, individual stability, and family aspects respectively. Additional recommendations are to encourage these people to participate in social activities more by the government sector’s support in forms of transpiration expense or per diem. One thing related organizations should concern is to arrange elderly club in associated with social preservation activities for more members’ involvement
