The Development of French Language Promotional Media for Ploy Sabai Thai Massage Shop in Pa Phai Sub-district, San Sai District, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract
This research aims to develop French-language promotional materials for Ploy Sabai Thai Massage in Pa Phai Subdistrict, San Sai District, Chiang Mai, using action research methodology. The research process consisted of analyzing the current situation with the business owner, designing and developing promotional materials, and evaluating outcomes. The study involved three groups of participants: (1) the business owner, (2) the experts, and (3) 30 French-speaking tourists. The research instruments consisted of a semi-structured interview form, a French-language promotional brochure, a TikTok video in French, and a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using means, standard deviations, and content analysis. The findings revealed that the developed promotional materials included a French-language brochure containing information about the business, services, prices, and products, along with a QR Code linking to a TikTok promotional video, which had a duration of 1 minute and 24 seconds. The satisfaction assessment indicated that the brochure received the highest satisfaction rating (=4.62, S.D.=0.61) while the TikTok video received a high satisfaction rating (=4.36, S.D.=0.69). The most highly rated factors were the ease of accessing information via QR Code and the conciseness of the content.
