Abstract
This paper presents the vision relating to learning and teaching Thai language and roles of the Department of Thai Interpretation and Translation, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Global Campus, Korea. The university has an outstanding Thai curriculum, which focuses on creating the effective translation and interpreting professions with extensive knowledge of the specific regions, Humanities and Social Sciences, Politics, Economy, Society and Culture. The Department has been successful in teaching and learning because of the supports and dedications of lecturers by engaging activities, developing textbooks, books and researches, and also encouraging students to be proud of Thai.
