Abstract
The purposes of this descriptive research aimed to 1) study the intergenerational relationships of students in Saint Louis College and 2)compare the intergenerational relationships of students in Saint Louis College by their the obedience, the family characteristics, the characteristics of living with family and the duties of parents in providing for the family. The sample group used in this study were the 288 undergraduate students in Saint Louis College. The tool used for identifying the intergenerational relationships was a 5-levels rating scale questionnaire. The questionnaire had 0.88 reliability. Analyzing descriptive statistics t – test and analysis of variance, the result were shown as follow.
1. The intergenerational relationships of students in Saint Louis College was rated at a high level.
2. The obedience in differences were affected the intergenerational relationships of students in Saint Louis College at 0.01 significant level. The family characteristics in differences were affected the dimension of intergenerational consensus at 0.05 significant level. For the characteristics of living with family and the duties of parents in providing for the family were not affected the intergenerational relationships of students in Saint Louis College.
