Abstract

          This research’s aims are 1) to study the guidelines for developing learning and teaching methodology for Catholic Education to enhance teachers’ efficiency and effectiveness in teaching corresponding to 21st learning and teaching, and 2) to emphasize the importance and benefits of 21st learning and teaching.
          The researcher of this documentary research has studied multiple national and international research papers. They are related to 21st learning and teaching, and Catholic education in Thailand.
          The findings of the research indicate that teachers must adjust themselves to the rapidly changing world in order to develop Catholic Education in Thailand corresponding to 21st Century learning and teaching. Also, the teachers have to perceive the difference of learners’ individuality. There must be a collaboration for those who concern to develop and exchange the concepts in developing learning and teaching in the 21st Century. For instance, learning and teaching methodologies or teaching innovations are taken to the account. Also, there must be a support for collaboration of those who concern that follows one of the identities of Catholic Education in Thailand to seek a way to develop the education.
          The teachers should integrate the concept of 4Cs which is established by National Education Association. This concepts focus on the learners to have skills of critical thinking, well-executed communication, collaboration, and creativity and innovative thinking. Through this, the learners will be granted a high-quality learning experience. Thus, they are able to extend what they have learned in their livings and career paths in the future.
