Abstract
แนวคิดและการปฏิบัติด้านความปลอดภัยและอาชีวอนามัยในมาเลเซีย เป็นผลมาจากการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ โดยมีจุดเริ่มต้นในปี ค.ศ. 1878 เมื่อมีการแต่งตั้งผู้ตรวจงานเครื่องจักร (Machinery Inspector) ขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรก ซึ่งมีความก้าวหน้าในการพัฒนาด้านความปลอดภัยและอาชีวอนามัยไปพร้อมกับความก้าวหน้าและการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของประเทศ
