Politics in Saan Somdet

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study information about the political and administrative events of Siam and Thailand, that appearing in the book series “Saan Somdet”. That has a relationship with His Royal Highness Prince Krom Phraya Narisara nuwattiwong and His Royal Highness Prince Krom Phraya Damrong Rajanubhab and 2) to study “political keywords” appearing in the book series “Saan Somdet” and meaning to the overall politics of Siam or Thailand at present. This research is qualitative research. By studying the information in the book set “Saan Somdet”. Analyzed data using content analysis, by using historical thinking and the presentation will use descriptive to accompany event.

The research results are as follows: 1) His Royal Highness Prince Krom Phraya Narisara nuwattiwong and His Royal Highness Prince Krom Phraya Damrong Rajanubhab, they told about political events that they had experienced of the past and the present at that time through the book series " Saan Somdet " 2) political keywords are words that His Royal Highness communicates, that both of them tried to avoid communicating in political matters, include the words lord, honors, the multi-personality concept of a fictional club, aristocrats, westerners and civilians. For these political keywords can be used to explain the meaning of government politics.
