Strategies for School Administration Base on Global Citizen under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office in the Northeastern Region

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the current condition ; desirable conditions and necessities for school administration under the concept of global citizenship 2) to create and develop school administration strategies based on the concept of global citizenship 3) to assess the strategy of school administration according to the concept of global citizenship. Using a mixed research method. Quantitative research, the sample group consisted of 272 secondary school administrators under the Office of the Secondary Education Area, Northeastern Region, 5 people per school, totaling 1,360 people, using a multi-stage sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires. The statistics used for analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and PNI modified. For qualitative research, key informants included school directors, teachers acting as heads of academic departments, teachers acting as heads of internal quality assurance, the Basic Education Commission, and students from 5 schools, 5 people per school, totaling 25 people. Using purposive sampling and content analysis.

The results showed that 1) the current condition, as a whole and each aspect was at a high level, the need condition, as a whole and each aspect was at the highest level, the necessities, as a whole and each aspect was at the highest level. 2) Strategies for school administration base on global citizen under the secondary educational service area office in the northeastern region, the results can be discussed as follows: 32 strategies, 32 projects, and 32 success indicators. 3) Evaluation results of strategies for school administration base on global citizen under the secondary educational service area office in the northeastern region, all 3 areas, overall, are at the least level in all areas. Sort from average to descending. as follows: suitability possibility and usefulness
