The Model Development of Innovative Leadership of Small School Directors in Digital Era Under the Office of Primary Educational Service Area in The Northeast Region

Abstract

This Article aimed to study (1) 1) to study current condition, desirable condition, and priority need indexes of development of innovative leadership of small school directors in digital era. 2) to determine and develop the model development of innovative leadership of small school directors in digital era. and 3) to try and assess the model development of innovative leadership of small school directors in digital era. Mix methods research is used as the research design. The research area is a secondary school under the Primary Education Area Office in Northeast. There are 345 of the sample group who are school directors or acting teacher in the position of director. This research uses multi-stage sampling. Finding the key informants by using purposive sampling. There are the experts from an interview, the experts from a focus group, and experts from a Connoisseurship. The research instruments are 1) questionnaires, 2) semi-structured interview, and 3) quality assessment. Data are analyzed by using Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and statistics to find PNI (Priority Needs Index). Analysis data by Descriptive statistics and Content Analysis.

The research results were found as follows; 1) The results of studying the current conditions, desired conditions, and The top three modified priority needs index of innovative leadership of small school directors in digital era ranks was as follows : (1) Creative innovation thinking skills, (2) Having a challenging innovative vision, and (3) Use of digital technology. 2) The model development of innovative leadership of small school directors in digital era five components including : 1)Having a challenging innovative vision 2) Creative innovation thinking skills 3) Use of digital technology 4) Teamwork and innovative participation and 5) Creating a modern innovative organization. 3) The overall assessment of the model has feasibility standards, property standards, and utility standards which are at a highest level. The results of the study revealed that the educational innovation studies received an model development of innovative leadership manual in small schools under The Office of Primary Educational Service Area in The Northeast Region.
