About the Journal
Focus and Scope
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University, has launched this journal with the aim of publishing research articles, academic articles and book reviews related to the fields of humanities and social sciences.
The journal features articles in the following fields:
- Language studies, Culture studies, History
- Arts, Music, Dramatic arts
- Philosophy, Religious studies
- Political administration, Community development, Law
- Interdisciplinary studies
- Information science, Geography, Geoinformatics
Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University published its first issue in 2019 in print format (ISSN 2730-2873). Recently it transitioned to an online journal (ISSN 2822-0234). It aims to be a platform for Thai and international academics, lecturers, students, researchers and interested individuals to exchange knowledge, findings, academic arguments and research outcomes in the field of humanities and social sciences.

Publication Frequency
Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University publishes two issues per year.
- issue 1: January to June
- issue 2: July to December
Peer Review Process
Every article manuscript undergoes a double-blind peer review process. It is evaluated by the editorial board and three reviewers in relevant fields from various institutions. Authors must revise their articles according to reviewers’ suggestions before publication. If an article is rejected, the editorial board will notify the authors but the manuscript will not be returned.

Publication Fee
Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University is currently funded by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Chiang Mai Rajabhat University. Therefore, it does not charge a publication fee.
