The Strategic Planning: Tool for Success in Organization

Abstract

In a dynamic environment, private and governmental sections have to adjust themselves for confronting with changeable environment. With remarkable accomplishment in management “Strategic Planning” is the first priority for all chief executives. The strategic planning is referenced by the book “The Art of War”, written by Sun Tzu. Afterwards, universities in the United States of America conducted the applied military strategic researches-- the pioneered research was in title “Higher Education for Business”, which was renowned and disseminated in private and governmental sections. As the process of the strategic planning, firstly select the corporate mission and major corporate goals, secondly analyze the organization’s external environment, thirdly analyze the organization’s internal environment, fourthly select strategies, and finally implement the strategies. The strategic planning is consequently the processing planning and value-added in order to practically conduct in the entire organization efficiently and effectively.  The purpose of this article entitled “The Strategic Planning: Tool for Success in Organization” is aimed for presenting the planning of strategies to reach the successful goal of organization and for elucidating the data as well as for illuminating the principle of systemic thinking in planning for the present and desired future.
