Enhancing Thai Language Learning Achievement of Primary 3 Students in Mae Kon Spelling through Musical Materials and Skill Exercises.

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: 1) to determine the efficiency of learning activities which used musical materials and the skill exercises to meet the criterion of 80/80, 2) to compare the learning achievement of primary 3 students in Mae Kon spelling before and after undergoing learning management with musical materials and skill exercises, and 3) to study the students’ satisfaction with learning management with musical materials and skill exercises. The research instruments included lesson plans, music, skill exercises, tests, and the satisfaction assessment questionnaire. The target groups of this research was 21 primary 3 students at Banlakpan School enrolled in the first semester, academic year 2023. Statistics used for analyzing were percentage, mean and standard deviation. The results found that 1) the learning management method with musical materials and skill exercises had efficacy at 89.71/86.19, meeting the established criteria, 2) after learning through the musical materials and skill exercises, the students had statistically higher learning achievement than before and 3) the students' satisfaction with the musical learning and skill materials was at the high level
