Dear Esteemed Readers,

It is with great pleasure that we present Volume 10, Issue 1 (January–June 2026) of the Chinese Journal of Social Science and Management (CJSSM)—A milestone issue that marks the journal’s continued growth in both academic scope and international engagement.

Building upon our recognition as a Tier 1 journal (TCI1), CJSSM remains committed to fostering high-quality, interdisciplinary scholarship that bridges theory and practice, while strengthening connections between regional insights and global perspectives. This issue is particularly significant as it represents the journal’s first volume welcoming English-language submissions, reflecting our strategic effort to expand international accessibility and scholarly collaboration.

This issue features twenty peer-reviewed articles contributed by scholars from leading institutions in Thailand and China. The collection reflects a rich diversity of contemporary research topics, including:

  • Education and Human Development: Vocational education, psychological needs and student development, teacher leadership, counselor systems, and AI integration in education;
  • Business, Management, and Organizational Studies: Leadership styles, psychological safety, employee innovation, over qualification, and business incubation models;
  • Consumer Behavior and Marketing: Applications of the Theory of Planned Behavior, plant-based consumption, low-alcohol beverage trends among Gen Z, and trust-loyalty dynamics in healthcare services;
  • Economics and Community Development: Household savings models based on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy and post-COVID resilience in diaspora businesses;
  • Technology and Society: AI-assisted translation and digital transformation in education and society;
  • Tourism, Culture, and Linguistics: Tourism service quality, cross-cultural adaptation, comparative linguistics, and international Chinese language

Notably, many contributions employ advanced empirical methods, including structural modeling, mixed-method approaches, and data-driven analysis, demonstrating the increasing methodological rigor and academic maturity of research in this field.

Collectively, these studies highlight the dynamic evolution of Chinese-language and bilingual scholarship in Southeast Asia. They not only advance theoretical discourse but also provide

practical implications for educators, policymakers, and industry practitioners navigating complex social and economic transformations.

As CJSSM continues to expand its international reach, we reaffirm our commitment to academic integrity, ethical publishing, and meaningful global engagement. We will continue to serve as a platform for impactful research, fostering dialogue across disciplines, cultures, and languages.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all authors, reviewers, and readers for their invaluable contributions and continued support.

With warm regards,

Asst. Prof. Dr. Pak Thaldumrong
