Facility Factors of Homestay affecting on Thai Tourists at Chiang Khan LOEI

Abstract

         The purpose of this research aims for: (1) study facilities level has effect to Thai tourists demand at Chiang khan, LOEI (2) comparison between demography and Thai tourists demand of Chiang khan, LOEI (3) study Homestay facilities factors that influence to Thai tourist requirement at Chiang khan, LOEI. The research was conducted by survey research representative sample of Thai tourists at Chiang khan, Loie around 400 persons. Data were collected using questionnaire therefrom the researcher presented questionnaires that was statistically processed; descriptive statistics use for explain general information include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. In illustrating, researcher uses

Inferential or Inductive Statics for hypothesis testing that is t-test to compare the mean of factors related to homestay facilities at Chiang khan, Loie and to classify demographic by using One-way ANOVA: f-test and Enter Multiple Regression process.

         The finding research found that; Thai tourists at Chiang khan, Loie were female more than male average age between 21-29 years old, they marital status are single and they are studying in under graduation, average income 10,000 baht per month. In addition to the factors of homestay facilities that Thai tourists is the most demanding were accommodation average 4.10. The study indicated in Thai tourists demand say that Thai tourists is the most demanding were found new experience and value in traveling average 4.12.

         Hypothesis testing found that, the difference of Thai Tourists demography Were differed in terms of age, occupation, status and education at the .05 significance level, gender factors and monthly income there were no difference in demand at significant level .05.

         Analysis results of Multiple Regression Analysis found that the factors of homestay facilities classified by accommodation, food, tourist attraction and security had influenced to Thai tourists demand at significant level .05 this is based on assumptions and homestay facilities in transport had not affected to demand of Thai tourists at the 0.05 level, it had not followed the hypothesis.
