The Guidelines for Enhancing Participation in the Administration of Lat Sawai Municipality, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

          The objective of this research paper were to study the level of public participation in the administration of Lat Sawai Municipality, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province. The population used in this research is the people living in Lat Sawai Municipality, Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province, consisting of Village No. 1, Village No. 7 and Village 8. The sample group comprised 385 people. The tools used for data collection. is a questionnaire. The differences were tested by using T - test, and one-way ANOVA.

          The results showed that 1) personal factors such as gender, age, education level family status, occupation, and income have different people participation in the administration of Lat Sawai municipality, and 2) the guidelines for enhancing participation in the administration were establishing a public representative to participate in inspections, procurement, publicize the management policies, and explore the needs of the public to participate in management.
