Tourists’ Opinion toward Factors Affecting Ecotourism of Hua Hin Safari and Adventure Park, Prachuap Khiri KhanProvince

Abstract

          The objective of this research was aimed (1) to examine the tourists’ opinion toward factors affecting ecotourism of Hua Hin Safari & Adventures Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan (2) to compare tourists’ opinion on factors affecting ecotourism of Hua Hin Safari & Adventures Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan by personal factors, and (3) to investigate issues and suggestions on travel management so that the data obtained will be applied to improve ecotourism of Hua Hin Safari & Adventures Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan. The researchers distributed questionnaires to both Thai and foreign tourists who visited Hua Hin Safari & Adventures Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, totaled of 353 people.  The questionnaires were instrumental to gather data. A total of 353 completely filled-out questionnaires, or accounted for 100% were returned to the researcher to be verified for accuracy and completeness of data. In this study, the statistics implemented included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test. The results showed as follows; (1) the respondents were mainly female, aged between 36-45 years old, married, Bachelor Degree, business owner, monthly income ranged between 20,001-30,000 Baht, (2) overall, the tourists were of the strong opinion about factors that affected an increase of the potential of ecotourism of Hua Hin Safari & Adventures Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and in each respect of areas, they were of moderate opinion about factors that affected an increase of the potential of ecotourism of Hua Hin Safari & Adventures Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan on activities, attraction, accommodation, and facilities, respectively, (3) the tourists with different age, different marital status, different educational level, and different income were of different opinion about factors that affected an increase of the potential of ecotourism of Hua Hin Safari & Adventures Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan while the tourists with different sex and different occupation showed no difference in opinion about factors that affected an increase of the potential of ecotourism of Hua Hin Safari & Adventures Park, Prachuap Khiri Khan.
