Good Governance in Local Government Organizations: Case Study of Sa khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization Suwannaphum District, Roi Et Province

Abstract

                The objectives of the research were: 1) to study the opinion of people towards the administration according to the principles of good governance in Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization. 2) to compare the opinions of the people towards the administration according to the principles of good governance in Sa khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization and 3) to study problems and guidelines for the development of administration according to the principles of good governance in Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization. The sample group consisted of 9,506 people within Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Which uses cluster sampling. The instrument used for collecting data is a questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using the software package for social science research. The statistics used were frequency values, percentage values, average values and standard deviation. Hypothesis were tested using T-test. and One Way ANOVA.

              Results revealed that

              1) the opinion of people towards the administration according to the principles of good governance in Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization, were at a moderate level. When considering each aspect, it was found that people had moderate opinions in all aspects.

             2) the comparison opinion of people towards the administration according to the principles of good governance in Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization, found that: opinion of people towards the administration according to the principles of good governance in Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization, overall is different. With statistical significance at the level of 0.05 which is in accordance with the hypothesis set.

            3) most respondents had opinions about the problems of administration according to the principles of good governance in Sa Khu Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Which responded to the questionnaire about the management team more than the organization and overall were at a moderate level.
