The Implementation of Good Corporate Governance Policies in the Pak Kret Municipality Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province

Abstract

The objective of this research paper were 1) to study the level of the implementation of good corporate governance policy in Pak Kret municipality Pak Kret District, and 2) to compare the implementation of good corporate governance policies with different personal factors. This research is quantitative research. The population used in the research were government officials, municipality employees, permanent employees and employment workers. The data were collected by questionnaires by 310 persons. Data were collected by questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, and standard deviation, the differences were tested by using T – test and F - Test. The result of the research shows that the implementation of good corporate governance policy in Pak Kret municipality Pak Kret District Nonthaburi Province, in overall, is in a high level, when considering each aspect, it was found that it was at the high level in all aspects. In descending order value for money, followed by the moral principles, responsibility, transparency, rule of law, and the principles of participation, respectively, and 2) different personal factors in terms of marital status differences with significance at the level of 0.05.
