Administrative skills of the secondary school administrators in the cluster area 3 under the jurisdiction of the office of the basic education commission a futuristic study

This research aims to (1) propose future-oriented skills for secondary school administrators in Education Area Group 3, under the Office of the Basic Education Commission, and (2) propose guidelines for developing future-oriented skills for secondary school administrators in the same group.
This research is a qualitative study employing a future-oriented approach using the Delphi technique. The study formulates key questions to explore answers aligned with the research objectives and gathers insights from 17 selected experts with extensive knowledge, expertise, and experience in secondary school administration. The collected data is then summarized and analyzed using frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, median, mode, and interquartile range to assess the likelihood of occurrence.
The research findings indicate that (1) secondary school administrators in Education Area Group 3 have future-oriented skills in eight areas: leadership, conceptual thinking, teaching and learning skills, human skills, technical and digital skills, cognitive awareness, communication, and community relations and networking. (2) Three main approaches for developing these skills are identified: (1) Support, development, and promotion of lifelong learning (2) Promoting and instilling core values of good governance (3) Support, development, and promotion of digital skills
