In this episode of Dhammadhara Journal, Naowarat Panwilai has interestingly analysed the affirmative Catuṣkoṭi by Nāgārjunain Mūlamadhyamakakārikā. Nāgārjuna was once of  the most important scholars in Buddhism. He, moreover, was the founderof Madhyamaka, the Buddhist concept of suññatā and the influencer of Buddhadasa Bhikkhu. It is recommended for readers to read through with analytical thoughts. It is unnecessary for readers to be Buddhism scholars; it is beneficial for everyone.

This preface was honoured by Amnaj Buasiri, Ph.D., on “Buddhism Vaccination: Buddhism research for the new generation and social problem approaches” in the 3rd Dhammadhara seminar on Saturday the 14th of July 2018 at The Great Sapha Dhammakaya Hall, Wat Phra Dhammakaya.

Phramaha Pongsak Thaniyo, Ph.D., wrote an article on “The Term Laddhi in Theravāda Buddhist Scriptures”.
The evolution of this term was studied for its origins. The result shows the term was coined during the transition of the early Buddhist texts, Abhidhamma period and more in the commentaries (Aṭṭhakathā) to represent ‘opinion’ and ‘dogma’.

Assoc. Prof. Praves Intongpan, Ph.D., studied “The Status and Role of Women through Religious Ethics”. The study was done through the perspectives of women from many ancient religions: Brahminical - Hindu, Buddhism, Christianity and Islamic. For those who are interested in gender equality should not miss.

Oraphan Suchartkullawit, Ph.D., proposed an article on “A Proposed Sila-Dhamma Cultivation Model for Early
Childhood”. This research was done by studying the concept of Western Philosophy and Buddhism. It shows similarities which are beneficial for those who are interested in fostering profound fundamentals in ethics to children.

Dhammadhara Journal continues our determination to promote advance research in Buddhism. All comments and supports are always appreciated.
