A Success of the Implementation of Traffic Management Policy to the Suture of Lower Central and Upper Southern Thailand in Entering the ASEAN Economics Community (AEC)

Abstract

The primary objective of this study was aimed to (1) examine the success of the implementation of the traffic management to the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the ASEAN Economics Community (AEC), (2) to investigate the factor success of the traffic management in the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the AEC, (3) to compare the success of the traffic management in the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the AEC by personal factors, and (4) to investigate the relationship between success factors with the success of the traffic management in the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the AEC. In this study, the population included 147 polices directing the traffic subject to the Phetchaburi Provincial Police. The questionnaires were used as instrument to gather data. The statistics implemented in this study included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test, and the Pearson’s simple correlation. The results showed as follows. (1) Overall, the police perceived that success factors that affected the success of the traffic management in the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the AEC moderately. (2) Overall, the success of the traffic management in the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the AEC moderately. (3) Overall, the police with different genders were of the different opinion toward the success of the traffic management in the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the AEC while the police with different age, position, education, average monthly income reported no different opinion toward the success of the traffic management in the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the AEC. (4) Success factors have strongly associated with the success the traffic management in the suture of the lower central and upper southern Thailand in entering the AEC and the relationship was in the same direction.
