Guidelines for Developing the Ability of Reserve Force in Type of Military Students, for Stability According to the 20-YearNational Strategy from 2018-2037

Abstract

          The objective of this research paper is to study 1) factors affecting the current reserve army production system for military subjects and 2) guidelines for developing the capability of reserve military personnel for security in accordance with the national strategy 20 years 2018-2037. It is a qualitative research. Key informants in this research consisted of 21 people, consisting of experts from the army, expert from the Ministry of Defense and experts in training management. By using delphi technique to confirm the validity of the questionnaires. The instruments used in this research consisted of (1) Semi-structural interview form for reserve military production system for military subjects. (2) questionnaire about reserve military production system for military subject type, and (3) questionnaire assessing suitability for finding guidelines for developing capacity the ability of reserve personnel military students.

            The results of the study revealed that 1) factors affecting the reserve personnel production system for military subjects consist of 5 aspects which are military training policy, operation, training operation method. Supporting factors and supplementary activities. 2) guidelines for the development of the capacity of reserve personnel in the military category can be summarized as follows: (1) modifying military training policy in accordance with the new threat and the 20year national strategy. Emphasize having patriotism Worshiping the monarchy with characteristics of military leaders Have a good image and is a strong reserve force for the army. (2) specify recruitment guidelines and report clearly Improve laws, rules and regulations regarding rights of reserve personnel (3) improve training courses of every year to be consistent with the current situation and national strategy on security. (4) budget allocation for training Increase the trainer ratio provide weapons that are modern and sufficient for the number of students. (5) activities to focus on creating a role model youth. Be a good citizen ready to be a quality reserve army of the army.
