The Reasons for Choosing the Career of Undergraduate Students in Bangkok and Vicinity

This research aimed to study the reasons for choosing an undergraduate student’s career in Bangkok and its Vicinity. This research is quantitative. The samples were final-year students of public and private higher education institutions. In Bangkok and its Vicinity, 400 people used the multi-stage randomization method. Data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive statistics were mean and standard deviation.
The research results found that the decision to make a career the most is the work environment, followed by compensation and welfare, career advancement, job characteristics, and occupation qualifications. Career decision-making selection, most in order from most to least, are personal business, followed by employees, freelance, government service, family business, contractor, and state enterprise employee, respectively.
