Role in Representing the People of the Councilors of Takha Sub District Municipality, Bang Pha Ma District, Suphanburi Province

Abstract

         This study aimed to investigate a role in representing the people of the councilors of Takha Sub District Municipality, Bang Pha Ma District, Suphanburi Province.

         This research is a qualitative research. The key informants are the council members of Takha Sub District Municipality, Bang Pha Ma District, Suphanburi Province, amount 12 people by specifying the specific sample, the research instrument was an in-depth interview form.

         The findings were as follows; The members of the councils of Takha Sub District Municipality have similar opinion, are the people's representatives because when people choose to become representatives, causing to have a meeting to meet and acknowledge the problems and needs of the people. This is a result that led to the proposed program/project plan for development District. Council members of the municipality consider themselves to be representatives chosen by the people to act as legislators in the council which is like an important backlash to drive that community forward and developed under the regulations to be substantial, but some council members who did not last very developed or train consistently, and there is no commitment to study further because of aging itself.
