Development of an Integrated Tourism Marketing Plan for Yasothon Province

This research aimed to 1) study the conditions of potential development of tourist attractions in Yasothon, 2) analyze the potential of tourist attractions in Yasothon Province. Data were collected from primary sources and secondary data, such as studying website documents, interviews and observations with and without participation, surveying the study area with sample group stakeholders in Yasothon Province, including tourists, public sector, private sector, government and academic sectors, 480 people in total. Also, interviewing representatives from the government, representatives from the private sector, academics, people in the study area, community leaders by purposive selected, and tourists by accidental selection (accidental sampling), a total of 45 people. The research found that: 1) The status of the potential development of tourist attractions in Yasothon Province, in overall was at a high level (= 3.91). Considering each aspect found at a high level all 3 aspects, as follows: the average public utility systems (
= 4.00), Facilities (
= 3.94), and tourism information (
= 3.81), respectively. 2) Guidelines for potential development of tourist attractions in Yasothon Province are as follows: (1) Developing an area to attract tourists with natural resources that are unique or unique in their culture and traditions in the local area, such as Viman Phaya Tan; Rice box that killed his mother; Old town Ban Sing Tha; etc. as well as souvenirs that are well-known to tourists; including Jasmine rice products; Ancient Rice Recipe; Pillow Silk; Pickled fish rice noodles made of rice eaten with coconut cream; and Yasothon Rocket festival with a reputation as one of the top 5 in the world traditions. (2) Management for safe tourism in the area; Providing facilities such as hotels and accommodation, restaurant and entertainment place; guide service. (3) Development of green tourism resources and products. The development of tourism personnel, including the development of the potential of tourist communities and strengthening the community, and 4) Development and promotion of participation in the management of tourist attractions in the community.
