Peer review process

1. The editorial team sends your article to a minimum of 3 qualified reviewers in the relevant field of study. The reviewers determine whether the article has the qualifications for publication. The criteria are creativity, academic value, and the completeness of content and research: language use, clarity of hypotheses and/or objectives, presentation and organization of the content, academic integrity, discussion, and appropriate references.

2. Neither the author or the reviewers will be informed of their identity (double-blind peer review). The review takes approximately 30 days.

3. In case the article is rejected by reviewers or is considered unfit for publication, the author will be informed in writing. For an article that needs revision based on the reviewers’ comments, the editorial team will ask the author to make the necessary changes. The revision is to be completed within 10 days from the day of the notice. The editorial team has the right to reject the publication if this deadline is not met.


4. After an article has been revised following the reviewers’ suggestions, it will be verified by the editorial team whether the revision is complete. Additional suggestions may be made in order to ensure that the article meets the standards of the journal. Changes are to be made within 7 days from the day of the notice. The editorial team has the right to reject the publication if this deadline is not met.


5. After the final revision, the editorial team will inform the author in writing of the acceptance for publication and of the issue in which the article will be published.

6. Upon the acceptance of the article, the author is required to pay the publication fee according to the Faculty of Applied Arts announcement regarding the collection of publication fees of research articles and academic articles in The Journal of Faculty of Applied Arts King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.  Payment can be made to:
