A Documentary Review of Theoretical and Practical Elements for the Development of English Speaking Skills Among Thai University Students

Abstract

การวิจัยเชิงเอกสารนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการวิจัยในชั้นเรียน ที่มุ่งศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักศึกษาไทยระดับปริญญาตรีสายวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีที่มีต่อ การพัฒนาทักษะการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของตนเองหลังจากที่ได้ลงทะเบียนเรียนรายวิชาการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษ ในมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งหนึ่งในกรุงเทพมหานคร ประเทศไทย การศึกษานี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนา มีจุดมุ่งหมายที่จะสังเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่สืบค้นได้จากแหล่งข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์หลากหลายแหล่ง ทั้งจากโปรแกรมสืบค้นสาธารณะและฐานข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ของห้องสมุด เพื่อรวบรวมองค์ประกอบทางทฤษฎีและทางปฏิบัติเพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในการเรียนการสอนทักษะการพูดของนักศึกษาในโครงการวิจัยในชั้นเรียนดังกล่าว โดยส่วนใหญ่บทความนี้รายงานการตอบคำถามเกี่ยวกับประเด็นต่างๆ เพื่อกระบวนการเรียนการสอนสำหรับการพัฒนาทักษะการพูด อาทิ ความหมายของทักษะการพูด ผู้พูดและความสามารถในการสื่อสารของผู้พูด วิธีการสอนทักษะการพูด รวมถึงแง่มุมที่สำคัญต่างๆ และปิดท้ายด้วยแนวโน้มในปัจจุบันของการสอนทักษะการพูด ข้อมูลที่ได้จากการศึกษานี้ช่วยสร้างความกระจ่างและเอื้อประโยชน์ต่อการนำไปประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อการเรียนการสอนรายวิชาการสนทนาภาษาอังกฤษ ทั้งนี้เพื่อการพัฒนาทักษะการพูดของผู้เรียนในมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งนี้ให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น
