The Study of Effective Local Leadership Model According to the Operative Personnel s’ Opinion Under the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization

Abstract

The research aimed to study the status of effective local leadership , create a model and confirm a model, study appropriateness and feasibility of the model application of effective local leadership. The research used mixed research methods between quantitative and qualitative research methods. The target groups consist with, 1) The operative personnel under the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization, Nakhon Ratchasima, were determined by simple random sampling for the samples 234 peoples, Afterwards, the focus group was conducted to compile data and specify model frame by 10 specialists, As well as  accessed  the appropriateness and feasibility of the model application by 69 executives. The statistics used for data analysis are percentage, mean and standard deviation.  The findings found that 1) the overall effective local leadership in opinion of operative personnel under the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Administrative Organization was at high level, 2) results of the model  creating and confirming  found that comprises of six components: 1) creating motivation to achieve goals; 2) developing effective and efficient teamwork; 3) building participation of personnel for determining organization direction; 4) generosity and taking one for the team; 5) appraisal for organization improvement and development; 6) consultancy, and 3) For appropriateness and feasibility of implementing  the model were at the highest level.
