Abstract

This research aim to study the degree of integrity and transparency of the local government administration in Sam-Ngam district, Phichit province. The researcher used a mixed methods research methodology consisting of quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative data collected from a sample of 700 external stakeholders and within the agency, 288 people. In the part of qualitative data analysis from evidence-based. By assessing the integrity and transparency are configured according to the sources in the index and indicators. The criteria for determining the weight. It is derived by using the Delphi technique from group of experts, academics and official of the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission. Findings showed that overall degree of integrity and transparency under study, after weighted scores was at a high level (scores was 70.02). By assessing the integrity and transparency of the Corruption –Free Index was at a very high level (scores was 98.25). The Accountability Index was at a high level (scores was 67.01). The Work Integrity Index was at a high level (scores was 63.85). The Transparency Index was at a high level (scores was 62.13). And the Integrity Culture Index was at a moderate level (scores was 54.37), respectively.
