Factors influencing parents’ decisions to send their children to Study in the first year of secondary education at private Schools affiliated with the Kalasin Provincial Education Office

This mixed-methods research aims to 1) study the factors that influenced parents' decisions to send their children to a first year of secondary school and 2) provide a policy proposal for the educational administration of private schools to develop a strategy to increase the number of first-year students in the administrative office of the Kalasin Provincial Education Office. The quantitative research with numbers using the basic random method consisted of the parents of students enrolled in first-grade secondary school, two hundred thirty-three people across four schools, and the qualitative investigation using purposive sampling involved four private school administrators. The result indicated that 1) parental opinion on decision-making is at a high level. 2) The factor that influences the decision of the parent has a multiplicity correlation coefficient of 0.962, and statistical significance is at the.05 level. 3) The policy proposal for the educational administration of private schools to develop a strategy for increasing the number of students in the first year of high school in the Kalasin Provincial Education Office focuses on the management of teaching courses that are tailored to the student by increasing and enhancing the skills of the student in the academic field and additionally developing teachers and personnel to accumulate more expertise.
